EMS Tariff Impact & Input Availability Survey

The Global Electronics Association (GEA) is consulting the electronics manufacturing industry as part of its ongoing advocacy and policy engagement with the U.S. government, including the U.S. Department of Commerce.

This survey seeks input on how U.S. tariffs are affecting imported inputs to electronics manufacturing and assembly, such as equipment, parts, components, and sub-assemblies (not finished goods). The objective is to ensure that industry realities are accurately reflected in discussions related to tariffs, domestic manufacturing feasibility, and supply-chain resilience.

All responses will be kept confidential and anonymous. Data will be analyzed and reported only in aggregate, and no company-specific information will be disclosed or attributed.

Please focus on inputs or equipment that are subject to U.S. tariffs and materially affect your operations. The survey is designed to be concise, though some questions may require technical or sourcing knowledge.
