I-LEAD Tassie Wine 2026 - EOI

Program Details

The I-LEAD Tassie Wine Program is an excellent opportunity for Tasmanian wine sector representatives to participate in our own tailored leadership development program. This program is being delivered by Wine Tasmania in partnership with Tasmanian Leaders and with funding support from the Tasmanian Government.

The program provides a flexible and Tasmanian-focused platform to introduce leadership, business and management skills for individuals to build capacity both within their own businesses and the broader Tasmanian wine community. The program will be delivered over seven weeks in 2026, July to September, with two in-person sessions (north and south) and five online sessions.

Content will be delivered by Tasmanian Leaders' expert facilitators alongside sector professionals to provide expertise in three key areas:

Personal leadership to:
•    Better understand social motivators and drivers of behaviour.
•    Elevate your sense of purpose, leadership style and personal wellbeing.

Adaptive leadership to:
•    Develop tools for leading in complex, ambiguous and uncertain environments.
•    Gain greater influence to improve business performance and outcomes.

Strategic leadership to:
•    Improve your capacity to lead across boundaries to generate sector-level change.
•    Develop deeper insights and stronger networks for a thriving wine sector.

By the end of the program, participants can:
-    Better understand themselves as leaders
-    Think strategically to better influence business outcomes
-    Have a wider network of relevant industry peers
-    Be inspired to lead beyond self for the greater good of Tasmania’s wine sector

This opportunity is open to all employees of Wine Tasmania's wine producer member businesses. Expressions of Interest are invited, and more than one submission per business is welcome. Participation is first-come, first-served, and participants agree to commit to attending all sessions.

The full cost of this program would be ~$2000, but participation is heavily subsidised, and the final cost is $495 +GST per person.

Program Schedule (attendance on all days is a must):
  1. 29 & 30 July: in-person in the south (9am-5pm), including a welcome dinner on the 29th
  2. 6, 13, 20, 27 August & 3 September: online (approx 2 hours)
  3. 16 September: in-person in the north and graduation event (9am-6pm)
