DNERR Survey for Managers and Decison-Makers in Delaware

Introduction

This study is being conducted for the Delaware National Estuarine Research Reserve (DNERR), which is a cooperative program between the State of Delaware and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) that is managed by the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC).

DNERR’s purpose is to preserve and manage natural resources through coastal stewardship, research, and education within the Reserve.

For this study, we are surveying individuals who are involved in management or decision-making related to coastal resources in a professional, official, organizational, educational, or volunteer capacity. This includes those who are in a position that must make decisions related to, or otherwise be aware of, coastal resource issues and how their work or efforts relate to these issues. Please note this also includes those who may not think of themselves or their work as being directly involved in coastal resource issues but who still must make decisions based on Delaware’s natural and coastal environment.

The results of this survey and your input will be used to guide the development of current and future DNERR training programs and opportunities.

We would greatly appreciate your input and response to this survey. This survey may take approximately 15 to 20 minutes to complete.
