Foundation for Jewish Camp offers an incentive grant program for campers in California, Arizona, Colorado, Oregon, and Washington state with at least one Israeli-born parent. This program is generously funded by the DARE Foundation, Rose Community Foundation, Jewish Federation Bay Area, and anonymous donors.
First-time Jewish overnight campers may receive an incentive grant of $1,000 for 12-18 days of camp or $1,500 for 19+ days of camp. This incentive is in lieu of traditional One Happy Camper® grants, and families may still be eligible for additional financial assistance from their camps.
Second-time Jewish overnight campers may receive an incentive grant of $700 for 12-18 days of camp or $1,000 for 19+ days of camp. Families may still be eligible for additional financial assistance from their camps.
This application will collect your information to verify eligibility and confirm enrollment with your chosen camp.

Please Note: Families living in Israel year-round are not currently eligible for this grant.
This application includes a brief pre-camp survey which captures information that helps FJC evaluate the impact of the program and helps us learn more about how camps can best serve the Israeli-American community. FJC will send an additional survey after camp to ask similar questions. There are no right or wrong answers to the questions – try to answer as honestly as you can!
