Lone Star Fireworks Festival Display Application

General Information

Think you have what it takes to perform at the Lone Star Fireworks Festival?

During the week after March 1, 2026, participants will be chosen from the applicants by the Board of Directors.

The Lone Star Fireworks Festival will be 
October 23-24, 2026. 

Here is the information on the shows that are available to apply for at the Lone Star Fireworks Festival.  


Please note, you can apply for more than one. 
 

Friday Night Blind Pyro:
We will choose 4 teams.  Each team will be provided product and e-match.  Expect between 50-100 devices and 3 times the number of e-matches as devices. (5-7 minutes choreographed to music)

All of the Saturday displays will be provided a budget for the acquisition of fireworks and e-match.  Many of these fireworks are donated by various sponsors and will be assigned a dollar value.  Other sponsors offer steep discounts for product used at the festival.  Additionally, you are free to use these funds to acquire product from any other source for use at the festival.


Saturday Night National Anthem:
We will choose 1 team.  Each team will be provided a budget with which they can supply the fireworks. 

Saturday 1.4 Pro-Am:
We will choose 3 teams.  Each team will be provided a budget with which they can supply the fireworks. (8-10minutes choreographed to music)

Saturday 1.3 Displays:
We will choose 3 teams.  Each team will be provided a budget with which they can supply the fireworks. (8-10minutes choreographed to music)​

Additional Information:
 

  • All time setting up is considered volunteer and you will not be reimbursed for travel, lodging, food, time spent, or other pyrotechnics expenses outside of the allotted budget.
 
  • Your display needs to be a pyromusical (scripted to music).  Music can be of your choice, however, please choose music that is family appropriate.  The music does not have to be kid-focused, but should be appropriate for a younger audience.
 
  • Equipment, firing systems, crew, racks, etc. will need to be provided by you.  The Festival can work with you to help you obtain resources, but it is not guaranteed.
 
  • Product can be provided to you ahead of time as it is available for prep work.  However, all product donated or purchased for the Festival must be brought and used at the Festival.  Product taken from the Festival without authorization will be considered theft from our non-profit.
