2026 Fields CSD China Undergraduate Summer Research Program (FUSRP-Shanghai 2026)!
Please note this application form contains two parts:
Personal Information &
Application Information. Both pages must be completed in order for your application to be considered.
The application will ask for following documents. Please make sure that you have everything available before starting your application:
- CV/Resume
- Cover Letter
- (Un)official Transcript
- 2 to 3 Reference Letters
Please note that all research projects will be conducted in English, and all your application materials should be in English as well!
FUSRP-Shanghai 2026 will be conducted in person at the Fields Centre for Sustainable Development in Shanghai, China. You are expected to arrive in Shanghai on
Wednesday, July 1, 2026 and leave Shanghai on
Monday, August 31, 2026. (If you are staying at the residence we provide, July 1 and August 31 are your move-in and move-out days.) For more important program dates, please visit the program webpage:

You will be asked to rank the 4 projects. Please tailor your cover letter to reflect your interest in the projects you are interested in. Please read each project description carefully.
Once you submit your application, you should receive a confirmation email with an edit link. You will be able to edit your application up to the application deadline.
The deadline to submit your application is on Saturday, February 28th, 2026, at 11:59 PM (EST).
