This Early College Program Design Plan is intended for planning phase participants to demonstrate how they have thoughtfully designed an Early College program. This plan is to be aligned with the requirements of statewide Designation and indicates a program will be ready to launch a Designated Early College program in the Fall of 2027. Responses and the evidence provided must illustrate that this program has a well-developed and intentional plan to support increasing college going rates with an emphasis on students underrepresented in higher education.
Important Note: Throughout this Design Survey, we refer to the prioritization of students underrepresented in higher education. These students include: Students who are from economically disadvantaged households, Black, Hispanic and/or Latinx students, First generation-to-college goers, English language learners, students with disabilities, and students who may otherwise not yet have a perception that they can be college-going students or may not have access to postsecondary opportunities.
This survey must be completed by Friday, January 8, 2027.
