Background: The Incline Village General Improvement District (IVGID) is responsible for solid waste (garbage) in the Incline Village and Crystal Bay community. IVGID currently has a franchise agreement (contract) with Waste Management (WM) to provide solid waste services and that agreement is nearing the end of its term. To help guide IVGID in negotiating a new franchise agreement please complete this survey to the best of your ability.
Results from this survey will be published as supplemental information for any IVGID board item related to the franchise agreement.
Please note that any franchise agreement must meet minimum standards for solid waste services under NRS 444 & 444A, and Washoe County District Board of Health Solid Waste Regulations, which includes mandatory service for all properties with collection no less frequent than once every 7 days.
