2026 Business Excellence Awards Nomination Form

Excellence is a way of life here – earned, not given – and it should be celebrated!

We want to hear the stories of the hardworking businesses and nonprofits whose contributions elevate our region and make it a better place for everyone to do business, work and live.

Winners will be recognized for their superior work in the areas of civic engagement, culture, innovation, and philanthropy.

Award Descriptions
  • Civic Engagement: The Civic Engagement Award recognizes organizations that embody civic responsibility—strengthening Omaha through activism and community engagement. They use their resources, expertise, and influence to address social challenges, support local causes, and advocate for change.
  • Culture: Recipients of the Excellence in Culture award exemplify leadership-driven cultural transformation, emphasizing employee well-being, trust, and a commitment to shared values. They actively cultivate an atmosphere where people feel valued, supported, and inspired to contribute their best work.
  • Innovation: Changing the establishment by introducing something better is no easy process, but true innovators thrive on this. Those recognized for Excellence in Innovation have made innovation part of their everyday ‘routine’ and provide tangible benefits through their work.
  • Philanthropy: Organizations, small and large, with a philosophy of giving back make a significant impact on the Omaha metropolitan community’s health and well-being. Recognition goes to those who go above-and-beyond to foster a spirit of generosity and support.
  • MilestoneMilestones matter, and anniversaries of 25, 50, 75, 100, 125 or 150 years in business celebrate the dedication of an organization's stakeholders and the lasting commitment of its customers and community. If your company is celebrating a milestone, please let us know by emailing events@omahachamber.org!
