The inaugural WGOB Board Leadership Excellence Award honours a woman who is making a difference in the boardroom, guiding corporate governance, and promoting diversity at the board level. This award recognizes her dedication, impact, and influence within the boardroom. Through this new honour, we are pleased to highlight the vital role women play in shaping modern corporate governance, driving change and fostering an inclusive leadership environment.

- You may nominate as many women as you wish, but please include only one nominee per form
- Nominees do NOT have to be WGOB members
- Nominators do NOT have to be WGOB members
- Include as much detail as possible
- You will ONLY be notified if your nominee is selected as a finalist
- The winner will receive a personalized award and a one-year Women Get On Board membership. If the winner is already a member, they will receive a complimentary one-year extension to their membership. The award winner's membership onboarding or extension will be completed via email
The WGOB Selection Committee will support WGOB in assessing nominations to ensure a fair and comprehensive review. Through a consensus-based process, the Selection Committee will identify three finalists, one of whom will be announced as the award winner at the WGOB Summit
