Only report materials generated within Ross, Pickaway, Highland, or Fayette Counties in Ohio. The RPHF Solid Waste Management District will use the information in this survey for summary purposes only to identify recycling rates in the DistrictNo sensitive information will be shared.

Please report the amount of materials recycled in 2025 that were generated within Ross, Pickaway, Highland, and Fayette Counties in Ohio in the following table. 

For data conversions assume the following:  
2,000 pounds = 1 ton
3 cubic yards = 1 ton
1 gallon of used oil = 7.5 lbs.
1 gallon of used antifreeze = 8 lbs.

This information may be found on your recycling bill or waste hauler contract/agreement.

The District realizes that businesses may recycle cardboard and/or mixed recycling but may not have actual weights of the cardboard and/or mixed recycling based on the style of service provided (dumpster service). The following grid is provided to estimate the amount of cardboard and mixed recycling recycled annually.

1. Size of your dumpster (2, 3, 4, 6, 8 or 10 cubic yard etc.)
2. How full it is when picked up on average (as a percentage)
3. Number of times the dumpster is picked up each week
4. We will do the math on our end to estimate recycling of cardboard or mixed/commingled recycling.
