SY26 K-12 HSS Curriculum Landscape Survey
The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and the Rennie Center are partnering to conduct another iteration of a landscape analysis for history/social studies (HSS) curriculum across grades K-12! This initiative is in an effort to find materials that qualify for inclusion in the History/Social Science Curricular Materials Guide, for all educators in the Commonwealth to consult.

In order to inform this review, we are seeking information from teachers, school leaders, and district administrators about the HSS materials they use.
Please complete this brief survey by EOD Monday, February 2, 2026 to inform our review and ensure the process is as comprehensive as possible. Curriculum is defined broadly for the purpose of this project. When answering the questions below, please include ALL materials you have used/know of to teach grades K-12 history/social studies.
