City of Atlanta Docked Bikeshare Program

The City of Atlanta is considering adding a docked bikeshare program as a new option alongside the current dockless (“free-floating”) bikeshare and scootershare system. This survey will ask about your travel habits and what features or pricing would influence how you use docked bikeshare.

Your responses will help guide planning decisions and identify ways to improve access to shared micromobility across Atlanta. The survey should take about 8 -10 minutes to complete. Thank you for participating.

After completion of this survey, please follow this link to access the mapping tool for providing feedback on new docked bikeshare stations and desired micromobility routes.

An example of a docked bikeshare is BIKETOWN in Portland, Oregon. BIKETOWN is a city-wide bike-share system operated by the Portland Bureau of Transportation in partnership with Nike and Lyft. The system now covers roughly 40 square miles of Portland and features a fleet of electric-assist bikes that users can unlock via app and return to dedicated stations. BIKETOWN also offers discounted access through “BIKETOWN for All” and adaptive bikes to improve equity and accessibility across the city.
