The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine is seeking suggestions for experts to to be considered for membership or other engagement with a new program committee for the Computing Research, Technology, and Systems program area. This program area addresses the technical foundations and policy dimensions of computing technologies and systems, with a focus on increasing U.S. resilience and security. Its work spans computer science and engineering, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, quantum information science, and human-technology systems. Using these suggestions, National Academies staff will be looking to build a committee of approximately 12 volunteer experts in addition to collecting information for potential speakers, participants, and other forms of engagement.
