The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine is seeking suggestions for experts to serve on the standing Committee on Women in Science, Engineering, and Medicine (CWSEM). CWSEM serves as an institutional focal point for the National Academies on issues relating to equal opportunities for women in science, engineering, and medicine. The committee accomplishes this by convening experts from government, academia, and industry, nationally and internationally, to discuss topics ranging from addressing sexual harassment to supporting family caregivers in STEM to navigating career pathways in the tech workforce.

The National Academies value a wide range of perspectives to strengthen the quality of our work. We carefully consider alternative viewpoints when formulating advice, convening experts with differing experience and perspectives, providing oversight, and conducting all other activities, and strive to foster an environment where all can participate fully. We welcome your suggestions for a broad range of experts to work with us.
