In this survey, the term Electric Vehicle (EV) means a vehicle with a plug, such as an all-electric vehicle (also known as a battery electric vehicle) or a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV). Hybrid vehicles without a plug (also called traditional hybrid vehicles) are not considered EVs.
