City of Richland Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Plan Prioritization Survey

Welcome

The City of Richland is updating our Parks, Recreation, and Open Space (PROS) Plan to shape the future of citywide park and recreation services over the next six years and beyond. The City has heard from you about a wide range of ideas and needs for the future, and now we need to know what matters most.

This short survey should take about 5-7 minutes, and it will tell us where you’d like us to focus city resources and energy first.

Let's get started!

Didn't I already take a survey?
This past summer we launched our first survey to understand community needs for parks and recreation and received an incredible response! The City has also held meetings with community members and city partners and decision makers about this project. Since then, we have taken a hard look at our existing parks and programs to identify key issues and needs, including where parks are, who they serve, and who might be missing out. So far, we have heard that it’s important to:
  • Reinvest in what we have by caring for and maintaining our parks and recreation resources
  • Embrace our unique history, culture, and natural environment
  • Provide safe connections, serving all residents and neighborhoods
