TRU DATC Registration Form Overview

TRU Advisors: please complete this form to register your group, including students and any adult co-advisor/chaperone, for Day at the Capitol 2026 taking place on Tuesday, May 5, 2026.

The deadline to register is Friday, March 27, 2026. Register early for a chance to win! Advisors who register their group by Friday, February 27, will be entered to win a pizza party for their TRU group.

All students planning to attend DATC must be registered by an advisor.

Please read carefully, as there have been changes to DATC registration this year. A maximum of 10 students per TRU group, with up to two adults per group, is permitted to register. Legislative meetings are limited due to the size of legislators' offices and we want to ensure a smooth and meaningful experience for everyone attending. We understand there may be special circumstances, such as when a student requires one-on-one support or a nurse, and those situations will be accommodated. If your group has a special circumstance, please contact Julia.McAfee@Lung.org after submitting this form.

To register students, please download the TRU Member Registration Excel Template and complete it with your students' information; you will be asked to upload it later in this form. Before you begin this form, please ensure you've collected the following information:

Be sure to collect a completed and signed Permission & Media Release Form for each student attending the event. Completed forms for each registered student must be emailed to Julia.McAfee@Lung.org by Friday, April 24, 2026.

Details about your legislative visit schedule and the TRU Day at the Capitol Logistics Webinar will be shared in April 2026. A boxed lunch will be provided to all participants.
