The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine are seeking suggestions for experts to participate in the workshop planning committee on biotechnology and biomanufacturing safety and security in Southeast Asia.
This workshop will provide an opportunity to share and discuss best practices and frameworks for safety and security in biotechnology and biomanufacturing fields, focusing on bioindustry and nonvaccine biomanufacturing efforts. The workshop will not discuss biomanufacturing of vaccines or agricultural products.
National Academies staff are looking to build a committee of approximately 6-8 volunteer experts in addition to collecting information for potential speakers and participants.
Based on the Statement of Task, staff are looking for academic, industry, and government leaders from Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, and the U.S. with expertise in the areas listed below.
