The Sidney Kimmel Medical College Alumni Association is accepting nominations for the 2026 SKMC Alumni Awards! The Awards will be presented during SKMC Alumni Weekend in Fall 2026.
All members of the Jefferson community are welcome to submit a nomination by sharing exceptional alumni for consideration for these special awards.
To be considered by the Alumni Awards Committee for the 2026 Alumni Awards, nomination materials must be received by 11:59 p.m. ET on Thursday, April 30, 2026.
SKMC ALUMNI AWARDS
Alumni Achievement Award - Established in 1964 to recognize the outstanding and distinguished professional achievements of medical college alumni.
Distinguished Alumni Award - Established in 2017 to recognize alumni posthumously for a lifetime of distinguished and outstanding achievements and contributions to their profession and/or field of interest, and for contributions benefiting their community and humanity. Please note that this award will be given posthumously.
Early Career Alumni Award - Established in 2020 to recognize alumni who are 10-20 years out from graduation for their outstanding early career achievements and demonstrated strong potential to be future leaders in their chosen specialty.
Time, Talent, and Treasure Award - Established in 2025 to honor an outstanding SKMC graduate who has contributed time, talent, and treasure through a commitment to the mission of the University and to future generations of Jefferson students.
Postgraduate Alumni Award - Established in 2025 to recognize the outstanding and distinguished professional achievements of postgraduate alumni who completed their training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and/or affiliate training programs (program/training need not be ACGME approved) provided they meet the established criteria.
Instructions: To submit a nomination, please include a curriculum vitae, résumé or biography, along with a letter of nomination explaining the nominee’s achievements. Each award has specific nomination letter requirements, which are shared on the next page of this nomination form.
