LIT Spotlights — Call for Proposals

What are LIT Spotlights?
Learning, Innovation & Technology (LIT) Spotlights shine a light on inspiring voices in learning technology, both established leaders and emerging talent. It’s your chance to share fresh perspectives, innovative ideas, early observations, or thought-provoking work that invites the LIT community to think differently.

LIT Spotlight is part of the broader Learning, Innovation & Technology (LIT) experience. Unlike This Party is LIT (our in-person, full day conference), Spotlight sessions are virtual, focused, and conversation-forward. They help our community discover new approaches, stay curious, and connect with people shaping the future of learning.

What we’re looking for …

We want bold ideas, early insights, and new ways of thinking. If you’re exploring something interesting in learning tech — a trend, a concept, a pattern emerging in your work, or a story that reframes how we see the field — we want to hear about it.

You don’t need code, a prototype, or a polished demo. Spotlight is about perspective and possibility:
    •    What are you noticing?
    •    What’s changing?
    •    What should the LIT community be paying attention to?
    •    Where do you see learning technology headed next?

If it sparks curiosity, challenges assumptions, or starts conversations, it belongs in LIT Spotlight.

Session Formats

Spotlight sessions run 30–40 minutes, followed by live Q&A. They may include:
    •    A compelling insight or idea
    •    A story from your own work
    •    A perspective on an emerging trend
    •    A concept that deserves community attention
    •    A provocation or challenge to the status quo
