Vote On the Next Wisconsin IDD-MH System Improvement Recommendation

Wisconsin Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and Mental Health (IDD-MH) System Improvement aims to improve systems and services for people who have IDD-MH needs. More than 4,000 self-advocates, providers, and partners are working together from across the state to make this happen—it’s called our Community of Practice.

The Wisconsin IDD-MH System Improvement Report (PDF) gives 37 recommendations for our state. Work started in early 2025 to turn these plans into actions.
  • In early 2025, we asked the Community of Practice to vote on which three recommendations to work on first. You chose recommendations 1.2, 2.1, and 5.7.
  • Now, we want your input to choose what to work on next.

Please submit your vote by January 9, 2026. We’ll share voting results in January, and then recruit people to work on the chosen recommendation.
