Job Description

Come save lives with us! At Early Alert we support the Department of Veterans Affairs and dozens of universities to prevent suicide. We are looking for a full-time US-based developer to maintain and improve our IT operations. This position is fully remote. Salary range is $90,000-$130,000 per year.

• Javascript / Google Apps script
• Data cleaning and analysis (Excel pivot tables)
• Data visualization (Google Looker Studio, Tableau)

TYPICAL DAY

• Set up a webhook that sends information from TextIt to Google Sheets
• Develop a learning algorithm to suggest support resources based on feedback from similar subscribers regarding support resources that were suggested to them
• In a team meeting, share a strange discovery you made when looking over the data (a lot of Space Force Veterans recently joined, all of them from Michigan)
• Create an experiment in TextIt to determine the frequency of check-ins to which subscribers are most likely to respond (daily? weekly? monthly?)
• Identify patterns predicting subscribers choosing to unsubscribe, in order to identify possible ways to re-engage them
• Connect our system to ID.me's API so subscribers can verify their Veteran status
• Set up an automation chain so a TextIt flow sends an email with links to team members, clicking the link automatically completes an Alchemer survey (based on URL variables in the email links) resulting in a webhook sent to TextIt to initiate a flow.
