Interfaith America (IA) is pleased to offer Faith & Health Pipeline Grants of up to $10,000 to advance religious pluralism across the health ecosystem. These grants will be awarded to support academic partners promoting the positive engagement of religion and spirituality in health-related courses and curricula, academic and public discourse, and/or campus-community partnerships.
Applicants should submit proposals with budgets that do not exceed $10,000. In exceptional cases, proposals may be considered for funding above $10,000 if a compelling rationale is provided and approved by the program team. Any such exceptions will be rare and must align closely with the strategic goals of the program.

Application Requirements:
All applicants must complete an online application including the following information:
- Applicant’s professional and institutional demographic information
- A completed project proposal outlining:
- specific goals and objectives of the project
- a description of the proposed activities and timeline
- budget overview
- Optional: Any additional supporting documents that strengthen the application, such as previous research findings, letters of partnership, or endorsements from relevant stakeholders
Eligibility:
- Applicants must be committed to engaging religion as a social determinant of health through curricular development, research, public narrative, or community-based activities.
- Eligible applicants include faculty members, researchers, educators, and community partners with ties to accredited academic institutions.
- If you or your organization is located outside of the United States, contact us before applying.
- Applicants who have not previously received a Pipeline Grant from Interfaith America will receive priority in the review process.
