THE SUBMISSION DEADLINE IS JANUARY 13, 2026 by 5:00 p.m.

Call for abstracts is open for lightning talks (formerly poster sessions) and limited concurrent (breakout) session presentations. Content areas should address the conference theme, particularly research, and programs displaying application to public health practice.

You do not need to be a member of NPHA to submit an abstract. However, if your abstract is accepted for presentation or lightning session, you and all presenting authors MUST 1) become NPHA members; 2) register for and attend the conference by the early registration deadline - March 24, 2026; and 3) pay the conference registration fee.

You will be notified of the status of your submission by February 6, 2026.

2. Presentation Type
Lightning talks are short live presentations 3-5 minutes in length and will be scheduled during the lightning talk session on day 1 of the conference. Concurrent breakout sessions are live presentations that are 30 minutes in length. The schedule of concurrent breakout presentations is determined after all abstracts have been reviewed. Concurrent breakout session submissions not accepted for a breakout session presentation will be reviewed for a lightning talk. *This question is required.
