Gem County Mineral Extraction Questionnaire

Gem County Mineral Extraction Questionnaire

Gem County is currently in the process of updating its Land Use and Development Code. As part of this effort, the County is revising the standards and regulations related to mineral extraction (gravel pits).

The Gem County Land Use and Development Code Project Team are committed to ensuring that these updates reflect community input. Your feedback is essential to help shape a permitting process that is transparent, easy to understand, and effective in guiding where mineral extraction operations may be located. The updated standards will also address necessary mitigation measures to minimize potential impacts.
