We’re running a user study to understand how developers manage migration from Java to Kotlin in backend projects where MyBatis is used for data access.

If you’ve worked with MyBatis in Java and then continued using it from Kotlin — whether in a fully migrated or hybrid codebase — we’d love to hear how that transition went. Your insights will help us understand what technical issues, migration challenges, or workarounds arise when adapting Java-era tools to Kotlin.
