A FEW THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND:
Short and simple notes are the way to go. You can be motivational, as in “I'm in your corner!” Or you can give gentle advice, such as “Remember to make time for sleep and working out” and “It’s okay to ask for help when you need it.” You could even quote a song if you like—any encouragement will work.
Try to avoid phrases like "You'll ace it!" or "You've got this!" While intended to boost confidence, these phrases can add to the pressure students may feel and increase a sense of failure if they fall short.
Notes will also be distributed at random and should not be addressed to specific students.
