Ageing Matters is asking Australians to think about residential aged care, also known as nursing homes.
Many will need to consider aged care for themselves, a partner or a family member such as a parent even if it's not on the radar at present. So, what will you be looking for? What makes a facility attractive? How do Australians go about this decision?
Some have first-hand experience as a resident, or family member of a resident, now or in the past. We'd like to hear your views too - the positive and negatives.
Participants have the opportunity to win one of twenty $150 Giftpay cards that can be used at over 100 retailers.
Our findings are used by community organisations to help understand older Australians' wishes and to advise aged care providers how to improve. Respondents tell us they learn a lot by doing our surveys.
The survey should take less than 10 minutes to complete. Most questions are optional and can be skipped if they are challenging or not relevant.
Feedback from the study will be available for participants at our website at the end of November along with the list of gift voucher recipients.
