Project Overview
The purpose of this survey is to measure support for two proposed alternative designs for Jefferson Avenue from El Camino Real to Farm Hill Boulevard.
The City of Redwood City identified Jefferson Avenue from El Camino Real to Farm Hill Boulevard as a priority corridor for safety improvements based on community feedback, traffic volumes, speed, collision data, presence of major pedestrian generators, and other related factors. The Jefferson Avenue Traffic Safety Improvement project aims to improve pedestrian crossings along the corridor and add a convenient bicycle facility to support walking and biking to and from destinations in the area.
These alternatives were developed based on the Spring 2025 outreach efforts and were presented at a community meeting on October 8, 2025. The preferred alternative will advance to final design and will be constructed in 2027-28.
Please vote on which alternative design you would prefer by October 31, 2025. Thank you for taking the time to share your opinion with the City of Redwood City.
