ASTRO Member Survey – ROI Rebranding Efforts

Thank you for being an ASTRO member and helping advance the field of radiation oncology and radiation medicine! For those who were able to join us in person or virtually for this year’s ASTRO Annual Meeting, you may have heard Dr. Kavadi’s CEO update and announcement that ASTRO and the Radiation Oncology Institute (ROI) – the ASTRO Foundation - are building a closer, more collaborative approach by bringing science, research, and patient education under ASTRO’s foundation to focus and increase impact. This shift includes a re-envisioning of ROI, including a rebrand of ASTRO’s foundation.

As an ASTRO member, we’d appreciate your perspective and insight as part of the ROI rebranding effort and are asking select ASTRO members to complete this brief, 10-minute survey. Your responses will help shape the new ROI name, look, and feel that we will unveil in January 2026.

For those not familiar, ROI is the charitable foundation of ASTRO, founded in 2006 to accelerate bold, practice-changing ideas in radiation therapy through research and education – funding science, implementation, and dissemination that advance patient outcomes and access.

Surveys must be completed by Friday, October 17. Your responses will remain confidential and will only be reported in aggregate. Participation is voluntary and you may skip any question. By clicking “Next,” you consent to participate.

If you have any additional questions or thoughts to share about the rebranding effort, or if you would like to stay updated on the rebranding effort, please send your name and email address to ROIrebranding@jpa.com.
