The Williston Recreation & Parks Master Plan will help the Town create a roadmap for how to improve its parks and programs. This will include quantity, proximity, and connections to quality parks, recreation facilities, and programs. The primary focus will be on the Community Parks, which are town-owned and managed, overseen by the Recreation & Parks Department, and are open to the public:
This project will NOT include Williston’s Country Parks, Town Forests, or Conservation Lands, which are managed separately by the Conservation Commission.
The Master Plan will also incorporate the findings from the indoor facility needs assessment that the Town completed in recent years.
