Proposed Shared Path Link - Rosehill Road Keilor East

Moonee Valley City Council is committed to creating a connected city of accessible, active and sustainable transport choices, as outlined in our long-term strategy, MV2040 and our Walking and cycling strategy.

This new project involves the installation of a shared use bicycle and pedestrian path link along the northern edge of Rosehill Park, adjacent to Rosehill Road, Keilor East. The proposed path will connect between the existing shared path on the eastern boundary of Rosehill Park, to the existing Dinah Parade on-road bicycle lane (and off-road pedestrian path) just west of the Rosehill Rd / Rachelle Rd intersection. The path link will provide improved east-west connectivity for cyclists and pedestrians.

Council is consulting with community about ways we can increase safety of the proposed shared path link along Rosehill Road, Keilor East.

The project seeks feedback on the following design improvements:

  • Reduce barriers to sustainable travel
  • Improve the safety of the road, shared path and footpath network

We're keen to hear from community members who use the path, or who have a general interest in safety improvements to shared use paths. Have your say today!

This consultation will close on 19 October 2025.
