Green Ribbon Schools 2026 Application

Thank you for applying to be a Massachusetts Green Ribbon School Award!

Due date is December 19, 2025.

We select honorees based on documentation of the applicant's achievement in the three Pillars:
Pillar I: Reduced Environmental Impact and Costs
Pillar II: Improve the Health and Wellness of Schools, Students, and Staff
Pillar III: Provide Effective Environmental and Sustainability Education

Schools/Districts demonstrating exemplary achievement in all three Pillars will receive the highest rankings. 

Please complete the application below. You will be prompted to upload photographs and other relevant documentation. The Green Ribbon Schools application template is available on the Green Ribbon Schools website to assist you in preparing your submission. We recommend using the Green Ribbon Schools Rubric as a guide to ensure your evidence effectively supports each Pillar in your application.
