Community Safety Network Joint Membership Application

Phase One: Applications accepted on a rolling basis

About the Community Safety Network (CSN)

The Community Safety Network is a space for movement groups with an interest in deepening their community safety infrastructure, the opportunity to develop safety structures together. CSN is launching as an invite-only network, focusing on a small group of dedicated movement groups with regional or local work, an existing community safety culture, and a strong base-building infrastructure or direct connection to base-building groups. CSN will offer members space for specialized training support during network meetings as well as threat tracking tools. Additionally, CSN will offer the following:

1. Quarterly network meetings with key regional movement groups invested in building community safety infrastructure, developing a clear and community-safety focused communication system, and building collective safety infrastructure.

2. Strengthen Rapid Response infrastructure including increasing safety support for network members through tailored safety infrastructure recommendations, trainings, and coaching. This may include providing funding to groups for their emerging community safety needs.

3. Developing Community Safety Resources in collaboration with network members. Member organizations would be able to help inform what emerging community safety resources are developed, and can review/offer feedback on these resources before they are shared more publicly.

4. Community Safety Programming which will include regular public events, trainings, and webinars focused on community safety best practices to meet the political moment.
