Shawnee County Harm Reduction Supplies Request

This resource request portal is for the purpose of providing free Harm Reduction Supplies to Shawnee County residents and Community Organizations/Partners.

It is not allowable to profit from or sell any resources allocated by the Shawnee County Health Department.

Resource requests will be evaluated and items provided at the discretion of the Shawnee County Health Department as supplies allow. 

A confirmation email will be sent within 2 business days with a date and time to pick up your requested resources.

By submitting this order, the requesting individual agrees to the following:
  1. Release & Indemnification – The harm reduction supplies are provided by Shawnee County (“County”) at no cost to Individual through the Kansas Fights Addiction grant program, on an “as-is” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Individual releases the County, its elected officials, officers, employees, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or losses arising from or related to the receipt, possession, storage, distribution, or use of these supplies. Individual further agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the County, its elected officials, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to the Individual’s receipt, possession, storage, distribution, or use of the supplies, except to the extent caused by the County’s sole negligence or willful misconduct.
  2. Limited Availability – Individual understands and agrees that harm reduction supplies may be limited in availability, and that although Individual may request specific quantities, the County may not be able to fulfill the order in whole or in part. Individual waives any claim against the County for its inability to fulfill a requested quantity.
  3. Compliance – Individual will use the supplies only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Further, Individual is required to read and comply with all grant requirements as stated in the Kansas Fights Addiction Grant Agreement.
  4. Authority to Bind – The individual submitting this order certifies that they are authorized to act on behalf of the Individual and to bind the Individual to these terms.
  5. Entire Agreement – These terms constitute the full and final agreement between the County and Individual regarding the harm reduction supplies provided under this program.
