The New York State Education Department is working with the Potsdam Institute for Applied Research, an independent research firm, to survey parents of children who are receiving special education services in school districts throughout the State.
- By taking this voluntary survey, you will provide information that will help school districts improve how they involve parents in their children’s special education programs.
- Your answers are important and will remain strictly confidential.

- We recommend having at least 15 minutes available to take the survey.
- You will have an opportunity to review your answers before submitting.
- The survey must be completed in one sitting. Your response will be locked once submitted or if you leave the survey early.
