Commercial ERV Tune-Up Participation Survey - 2025

Center for Energy and Environment (CEE) is developing and testing a tune-up protocol for commercial energy recovery ventilators (ERVs), with a focus on systems installed before 2014. This project is funded by the Conservation Applied Research and Development (CARD) program, administered by the Minnesota Department of Commerce, Division of Energy Resources. The research will help identify cost-effective strategies to improve ERV performance, reduce energy use, and inform future statewide energy-saving efforts.

The project team is seeking for participants with existing energy recovery ventilators (ERVs) to volunteer for a FREE tune-up to their ERVs. For this study, ERVs include large-scale energy recovery wheels (ERWs) and energy recovery unit (ERU) sections of air handlers.

Please fill out this form even if you're unsure whether the buildings you work with have an ERV or what type of energy recovery system they use, especially if you're curious and want to learn more!
