Data for Foundational Learning Survey

Survey on foundational learning

This survey is being conducted by Mokoro Ltd. and Oxford MeasurEd on behalf of the UK's Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO).

This survey has been designed to collect country-based evidence in a consistent and unbiased manner. The survey should take a maximum of 12 minutes of your time. Individual answers will remain anonymous and confidential. Your views, drawing from country experience, are greatly valued. As the survey is targeted at individual functions, we appreciate you not delegating this task and taking the time to fill out the survey in ways that reflect your personal perspective.

Instructions to complete, save and submit the survey
  • The survey is available in English, French and Spanish. You can change the survey language by clicking the language button on the survey bar on the top of the page.
  • You have to answer red starred questions before progressing to the next page. You can select "I don't know" if you don't have an answer to some of the options.
  • You submit the survey by clicking the “submit” button at the end of the last page. You can edit your responses at any time before finally submitting the survey.
  • If you are unable to complete your survey in one sitting, you can use the 'save and continue later' function available on the bar at the top of your screen.
Use of the data:
The data collected will be used as part of the Mid-Term Evaluation of the Data for Foundational Learning (D4FL) Programme. More information on the D4FL programme can be found on FCDO's website. Anonymised data will be owned by the FCDO, but be made available to foundational learning stakeholders on request.
