Belonging Discovery Survey for Higher Education Decision-Makers

Introduction

Student Belonging refers to the degree to which students feel accepted, respected, included, and supported by others on campus—both socially and academically. This concept has been linked to student success, retention, engagement, and well-being, and may intersect with broader institutional goals. Just as important, the perception of belonging plays a critical role in a prospective student’s decision-making journey.

As part of a collaborative effort to better understand how institutions are approaching student experience, Paskill, a national higher education marketing agency with over 35 years of experience, has partnered with KNow Research, a qualitative insights agency with expertise in higher education, and Lexicon & Line, a quantitative research and strategy firm specializing in education and public sector work. Together, we are conducting a brief discovery survey to assess how higher ed leaders view student belonging, and where gaps may exist in data, alignment, and institutional messaging. Your insights will help shape future tools and research that better support enrollment, retention, and student success.

This survey should take no more than 7 minutes to complete, and as a thank you for completing it you will receive a copy of the resulting report.
