The Strong & Resilient Communities (SARC) grant program gives Neighbourhood and Community Houses and Centres the opportunity to access funds to support the social and economic participation of vulnerable and disadvantaged people in their local communities.
To be eligible for funding you must be all of the following:
- a Neighbourhood or Community House or Centre
- a member of your State Peak Body
- applying for funding to support social and economic participation for the target cohorts by offering inclusive, community-driven initiatives.
While funding for existing programs is out of scope, if you have demonstrated success with your program and wish to further develop or extend your program to meet the changing needs of the community, this could be considered eligible.
