Chalk the Walk 2025 Vendor Form

Welcome to Chalk the Walk 2025! We are so excited to have you participate. Please keep in mind that this event is intended to be a memorial event. While resources are welcome, we ask that you prioritize the event attendees and help keep their loved ones the main focus of the event.

NOTE: The date of the event this year is September 13, 2025.

There is no cost to become a vendor. However, all vendors are asked to plan an activity that aids to the integrity of the memorial event.

All vendors are responsible for bringing their own table, chairs, and tent (if applicable).

The cut off date for vendor registration is 8/31/2025.

Examples of this have been writing words of encouragement to people in recovery, writing letters to people in incarceration, painting rocks with positive images or words, decorating bookmarks, planting seeds, decorating yard signs for their loved one, yoga/meditation, yard games, etc. If you need an idea of an activity, feel free to reach out to Mahjida Berryman by email at steffinm@co.lucas.oh.us or call at 734-347-3138.

2. What memorial activity will your agency be doing?
Please keep in mind that while resources are wonderful, we want to be focusing on memorializing lost loved ones and facilitating connection. Please plan an activity that is reflective of our goal. This could include planting flowers, writing words of encouragement to folks in recovery, signing a loved ones name on a visual display, yard games, a scavenger hunt, coloring pages, painting rocks, a physical activity, etc. Thank you! *This question is required.

4. I understand that the hours of the event are 3pm-7pm and this is the time I will commit to attending.
It is very important to us that vendors plan on being at the event until 7 pm. At 6:30pm there will be a ceremony to help remember those lost to overdose and it's very distracting for vendors to begin tear down during the ceremony. Additionally, volunteers will be available to help you tear down quickly following the end of the event. *This question is required.
