Where We Are
This second survey, part of our plan development and implementation planning stages of work, is focused on your perspectives and priorities for the future of downtown. This survey will present initial framework-scale ideas and ask for your input on what to prioritize and how to implement ideas in a uniquely Baton Rouge way.

Planning Area
The study area for this project is depicted in the image below and contains the core of Downtown Baton Rouge, framed by the Mississippi River to the west, Capitol Lake to the north, Downtown East to the east, and I-10 to the south. This boundary is also the boundary for the Downtown Development District (DDD). While the planning work will cover this entire area, we will take an especially close look at a handful of focus corridors, including Main Street, Florida Street, North Boulevard, Government Street, 3rd Street, and Nicholson Drive.
