Thank you for standing with us to create a more equitable public education system in New Mexico.
In partnership with the LANL Foundation, WestEd, and the Legislative Education Study Committee, the New Mexico Public Education Department is developing a statewide action plan in response to the Martinez/Yazzie court ruling. This plan will guide how our state fulfills its constitutional responsibility to provide every student—especially
Native American students, English learners, students with disabilities, and those from low-income families—with a sufficient and equitable education.
Your voice is essential. We’re launching a statewide engagement effort to ensure this plan reflects the real experiences, priorities, and ideas of New Mexicans, including students, families, educators, and Tribal communities.
Your input will directly help inform the Martinez/Yazzie Action Plan. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey below and help shape the future of education in our state.
The survey will close on August 27th.
