Martinez/Yazzie Call to Action!

Thank you for standing with us to create a more equitable public education system in New Mexico.

In partnership with the LANL Foundation, WestEd, and the Legislative Education Study Committee, the New Mexico Public Education Department is developing a statewide action plan in response to the Martinez/Yazzie court ruling. This plan will guide how our state fulfills its constitutional promise to provide every student, especially those most underserved, with a sufficient and equitable education.

To make sure this plan is truly grounded in the experiences and wisdom of New Mexicans, we’re launching a statewide engagement effort to hear directly from students, families, educators, Tribal communities, and others.

By filling out this short form, you’ll receive updates on:

  • Regional community conversations happening near you
  • A statewide survey to gather input
  • Opportunities to stay involved in shaping the plan

This is your chance to stay connected, speak up, and help shape a plan by New Mexicans, for New Mexico’s students.
