About the Advisory Committee: The Sleep Medicine Advisory Committee is one of the cosponsored committees, comprising representatives of the cosponsoring Member Boards of the American Board of Medical Specialties. It is responsible for the broad definition of the discipline across certification and Maintenance of Certification (MOC) in sleep medicine, assuring that the credential speaks to the evolving needs of the discipline. The Advisory Committee has oversight of the Approval Committees and is responsible for ensuring that certification and MOC remain relevant in the discipline.
