Summer 2025 Chronic Pain Support Group Leader Training

Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer chronic pain peer support group leader with the U.S. Pain Foundation.
Our Pain Connection training program is designed to prepare peer leaders to support individuals living with chronic pain—and their loved ones—through compassionate, educational support groups.

Upcoming Training Details:

  • Training Date: Thursday, August 28, 2025

  • Time: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET

  • Format: Virtual, via Zoom

  • Introductory Meeting: A brief orientation will be held one week prior to the training (date and time TBA).

This training is structured and highly interactive, with opportunities for small group practice, peer connection, and live Q&A. Attendance on camera is required for the full training, with the exception of designated breaks and a lunch period.

Application Information:

  • Application Deadline: Tuesday, July 1, 2025

  • After applications are submitted, U.S. Pain’s Director of Mental Health and Support will conduct phone interviews with selected candidates.

  • Space is limited. Applicants must be available for the full training.
