How do Development and Ecological Values Coexist

Summary: This presentation will focus on how landscape architects and ecologists collaborate to identify, conserve, and uplift important ecological zones in proposed developments and master planned communities. The presenters are Klara Rossouw, a Professional Landscape Architect with Ripley Design, and Jesse Dillon, an ecologist with Cedar Creek Associates. Discussion highlights include making the connection between the City of Fort Collins Land Use Code and Natural Habitat Buffer Zone boundaries and crafting successful Adaptive Management plans for Natural Habitat Buffer Zones.
