The MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) welcomes districts, charters, and collaboratives from across the Commonwealth to participate in the SY 2025–26 IMplement MA: Evaluate & Select High-Quality Instructional Materials Network. This Network is designed to support district teams by guiding them through the first two phases of DESE's recommended four-phase IMplement MA process: to evaluate and/or select high-quality materials for ELA/literacy, math, and/or science in any K-12 grade span during the 2026 school year.
The Evaluate & Select HQIM Network combines virtual sessions with personalized support to engage district teams in a guided, individualized, equity-focused curriculum selection and adoption process rooted in district's local assets, needs, and priorities.
Participating district teams will commit to attending all sessions of the Network, meet as a working team, and lead all Curriculum Selection Council meetings at the school/district-level throughout the school year. Applications should be completed by the team leader (administrator/decision-maker) of the evaluation and selection committee. Districts can register for up to two teams to participate if they are interested in evaluating ELA/literacy, math, and/or science materials over the course of the 2025-26 school year.
- District teams attending the Network meetings should consist of 2-3 people, one of whom should be a lead administrator/decision-maker. Network team members can include assistant superintendents, directors, coordinators, coaches, vice/principals.
- Districts can apply for up to two content teams to participate, though one is strongly recommended.
- Please fill this registration for each content team you intend to evaluate and select HQIM this school year.
Who should attend:
