Call for Perspectives on the Frontiers of Statistics

The National Academies has assembled an interdisciplinary ad hoc committee to produce a decadel-like assessment of the current state of the statistical sciences and emerging opportunities for the discipline and its stakeholders as they look ahead to 2035 and beyond (please navigate to the webpage to read the full statement of task). The study may make recommendations to funding agencies on how to adjust and expand their portfolios of activities and partnerships to reflect the evolution of the field and strengthen the impact of the discipline. We invite you to share your thoughts about how statistics is operating and will evolve at the frontiers. Your perspectives are invaluable and help ensure we have a holistic understanding of the statistical sciences and their broad implications for science and engineering.
